The Reporter is a computer-based installation that randomly composes statements using words found on the Internet. It was recently shown at the studios of WGBH in Boston as part of Boston Cyberarts Festival 2009.

Letters from collected words float freely in an animated typographic cloud. At regular intervals, some letters within the cloud move to become words and make an original statement.

The Reporter mixes and recombines the language of the news to make original statements that reframe current events and question our understanding of them.
