The University of Michigan Herbarium houses botanical collections that have been developed almost since the university’s founding in 1837. With over 1.7 million specimens, the Herbarium has one of the largest collections in the country.

I was approached by one of the Herbarium’s research scientists to develop a web site that serves as a resource for the public and Herbarium staff and provides a portal to search the Herbarium’s extensive collections and database.
