As an artist, curator and educator, Jody keeps a very busy (and productive) schedule. She needed a site that could present a wide range of changing work and information in a way that was flexible and easy to maintain.

With such a rich body of work to show, we decided to keep the design of the site relatively simple. What may not immediately be apparent is the amount of control she has over its content. Whenever she wants to add a new project, change the order of some thumbnails or change a word or image, she can easily do so by making some changes to a text file on her server.

This site was built in Flash with custom Actionscript programming to give her the control she needed. The Flash file loads XML and text files that contain and define the structure of the site. Changing colors, the order in which images appear and the number of projects is entirely in her control.
